The Purpose
More powerful and able to carry greater momentum, E-bikes place a huge amount of strain on wheels. The E_Enduro wheelset has been developed from the ground up to handle these unique demands. Featuring a 37mm wide 6069-T6 rim, laced with thick triple-butted spokes to oversized E-Specific hubs; the E_Enduro is up for anything you can throw at it, making them an ideal upgrade over your standard Original Equipment set.
Developed closely with Elite level racer Oli McKenna, the E_Enduro wheels have been tested to the same rigorous standards as our Downhill rated wheels. The rim sidewall tapers to be 25% thicker and with up to 41% more material in the rim bed compared to our Enduro Wide, they're ready for whatever the trail springs at you.

- Rims | 6069 T6 (490 MPa, + 69% Ultimate Tensile Strength over 6061-T6) welded construction, 37mm wide (internal), work-hardened shot-peened finish. Internal tubeless profile designed in conjunction with engineers at leading MTB tires brands for the best tubeless seal.
- Hubs | Large body E_MTB specific hubs with heatsinks for heat dissipation. 6x1 Pawls for increased resistance to the extra torque generated. Boost (110/148 ) spacing hubs. Large double sealed cartridge bearings. Rock Shox Torque Caps available. Hubs have 6 bolt disc mounts.
- Spokes | 32F/36R Spoke Count, Thicker Triple Butted (2.3-1.8-2.0) PSR reinforced Pillar Spokes compared to the normal (2.2-1.6-2.0)
- Tires | Optimised for the larger 2.6"-2.8" tires usually specced and suited to E-bikes. Fit Plus size, regular or anything in-between.
- Axles | Extra thick 17mm 7075-T6 axles for increased strength and stiffness. Reducing flex in the hub also helps to increase bearing life.
- Hand-built | All of our wheels are built and finished by hand, inclusive of a full quality control inspection.

- 6069-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy (+69% tensile strength vs 6061-T6).
- Tubeless-ready – designed to work excellently with tubeless tires. Tubeless-rim tape and valves included.
- H-lock bead-seat up-kicks for easy and secure tubeless installation.
- Matt black work-hardened shot-peened finish with laser etched graphics for superior durability.
Spokes
- J-bend cold drawn.
- 32F/36R spoke count.
- Made from high grade T302 (18/10) stainless steel wire by Sandvik Sweden.
- Thicker Triple butted 2.3-1.8-2.0 (then 2.2 at the head for the patented Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement).
- Black stainless treatment.
Nipples
- Hard-anodized alloy strength.
- Square body for external adjustment and hex head for easy internal adjustment/tensioning.
- Long 14mm thread for durability.

Tires Info
- HUNT recommends a 2.6"-2.8" tire for best performance, tire widths between 2.6" and 3.3" are also safe to use.
- You must not exceed the maximum tire pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tire manufacturer if this is lower.
- Note: best performance is usually gained by using tire pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog post here about this.

All HUNT wheels models have to pass our harsh rolling-drum fatigue tests for rider weight limits, please see here for more details. Max system weight 135kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If a rider is over 125Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
